Many visitors view San Antonio as the ultimate Texas vacation destination. And, that is for good reason. Besides having a quaint, Old Southwest charm, San Antonio is chocked full of attractions and entertainment options, leaving most visitors wishing they had more time to spend in the Alamo City.

It is hard to say what the most popular attraction is in San Antonio. But, the Alamo, Riverwalk, Sea World and Fiesta Texas are “must-see” attractions.

Here are just a few of the many hotels in San Antonio that you will find at Hotelmine.  Don’t forget when you decided to book your guest room you will be dealing directly with the hotel and not an online travel agency.

Everything is big in Texas

That includes a Texas-sized sports bar at the new JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort.

The new JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa might tout two exclusive PGA Tour golf courses, a sprawling six-acre water park, gourmet food and a spa, but the one thing that’s got Marriott International’s chairman and CEO JW “Bill” Marriott Jr.’s attention is the High Velocity Sports Bar.

With an undulating 120-foot-long and 12-feet high screen — complete with a scoreboard crawl along the bottom — the bar offers sports fans a way to experience their favorite teams in a bigger-than-life way. In addition, a sleek wall of 16 LCD screens, sports-themed paintings and a variety of booths with private screens offer something for hard-core fans and visiting families.

The San Antonio resort is the state’s first JW Marriott, a signature luxury brand of the Marriott portfolio. The Hill Country resort is the newest and largest JW Marriott in the world; currently, there are 45 JW Marriott hotels in 19 countries. The local 1,002-room JW Marriott was built on 600 acres in the Hill Country and sports 140,000 square feet of meeting space, a 26,000-square foot water park, and seven restaurant and lounge options.
