Check out all of them, or just a few, as you explore the city. The Granary Burying Ground is the final resting spot for such important figures as Paul Revere, Samuel Adams and John Hancock. Swan Boats

The Boston Public Garden’s lagoon is home to the famous Swan Boats. The leisurely 15-minute quiet ride around the lagoon, powered by the captain’s legs, provides picturesque views of the city. The Swan Boats date to the early 1870s, when the captain used oars to row patrons around the lagoon. In 1877, the foot-propelled version was introduced. The boats run from April through September.
